Magimix Le Micro 12245 review

The Magimix Le Micro 12245 mini chopper comes with an emulsifying blade, and has a dosing hole in the lid for adding liquids, so you should be able to make a mean mayo in it. We put this mini chopper to the test to see how good it is at a range of food...

Does a good job, but expect to have to replace parts

I think the above comments regarding durability are worth noting. Our first bowl+lid never truly secured well and we found that we had to press the bowl/lid down to enable the pulse button to be activated. After nearly 12 months the plastic lip at the...

Bought it because it was small enough to put away in a drawer when not in use. Worked very well - particularly good for making breadcrumbs. But lid construction too flimsy and broke within months (in exactly the way Eastlake above describes) although...

Despite using this processor carefully, due to the fragility of its lid and bowl and the difficulty of closing it, I have had to replace both. Spares are ridiculously expensive: over £20 for a lid and over £28 for the bowl. Never again!

Good value for money but does have its limitations when compared to its larger relatives. For one its quite fiddley to use when locating the bowl on the central spiggot and when removing. Also as the plastic holding the chopping blade is a tube within...

Le Micro

I bought this because my eyes stream when I chop onions and I thought it might help. Its a very effective little machine for chopping onions, chillis, garlic, ginger and herbs and does the job really fast. It is easy to use and to clean and I use it...
