Beaten to a Pulp

I do not like hand mixers and only them under duress. You're stuck in one place holding the mixer and then the time you need some real help to mix the dough is the time a hand mixer poops out. I am very impressed with how quiet this Kitchenaid hand...

Sturdy little hand mixer, get it in red

Hand mixers are designed for certain jobs, like mashing/blending potatoes and mixing cake batters and frostings. When a stand-alone (big) mixer is just too much for a small job, out comes our KitchenAid hand mixer. I've used other hand mixers (mainly...

Sturdy, quiet, cool red color, does the job great

None, as long as you remember what it's designed to do

Recommended!

I have had this mixer for 4 1/2 years and have absolutely no complains. The mixer wipes off easily and the mixer pieces are very easy to clean unlike some other mixers.

A Dependable, Inexpensive Hand Mixer

We already own a KitchenAid stand mixer and have been very pleased with it.  That beauty is now twenty-eight years old and is in terrific condition.  The downside is the weight and inconvenience of using it for everyday cooking.

Horrible Mixer

This mixer is so weak and powerless that I am surprised Kitchen Aid is even willing to put their name on it.  With this mixer, my 7 minute frosting takes 15 minutes or more.  If I did not have previous experience with other excellent Kitchen Aid...

It whips cream, eventually

It takes forever to do anything

KitchenAid KHM5AP Ultra Power Hand Mixer?LOL! Ultra..Yeh Right!

This past weekend I made the trek up to Pocono's to get a little kayaking in at the Francis Walter Dam.. Aside from the brisk weather fall foliage was in full regalia and it felt like fall for the first time this season. I was up with all our kayaking...

One weak and wimpy hand mixer...

Count me among those who have always wanted to own one of KitchenAid's snazzy stand mixers. Unfortunately, until very recently, KitchenAid's stand mixers were way outside my price range. Now that my husband Bill and I have enough money to consider...

Has five speeds. Lightweight. Not too noisy

Very weak and wimpy

Nothing Ultra About It!

I guess $50 is not enough to get a decent portable mixer... This one feels like it's battery-powered! It can't handle anything much above a liquid; cake mix was challenging! This was quite a disappointment for a Kitchenaid.

price, size, portability

not much power, beaters are inefficient, lots of splattering and "gunking
