Should you upgrade to Cuisinart's PowerEdge 1000 Watt Blender?

Was Cuisinart's most expensive mixer able to edge out the competition?

With 1,000 watts of power, die-cast metal construction, and a 64-oz. jar, the $199 ; has a high-end feel at a midrange price. For basic blending needs, it does the job.

The competition does the job better, for the same price or less.

With superior options available at the same midrange price point, this blender is just too average for us to recommend.

Cuisinart PowerEdge 1000 Watt Blender Stainless

With 1,000 watts of power, die-cast metal construction, and a 64-oz. jar, the $199 Cuisinart PowerEdge 1000 Watt Blender has a high-end feel at a midrange price. For basic blending needs, it does the job.

The competition does the job better, for the same price or less.

With superior options available at the same midrange price point, this blender is just too average for us to recommend.

The Cuisinart CBT-1000 PowerEdge is a great blender, my family loves the convenience of being able to blend our own fruit smoothies and daiquiris whenever the mood takes them. Our old blender stopped working, I received it as a wedding present 20 years...

So easy yet can do anything!

This mixer is amazing and am not surprised considering it is Cuisinart! I have never had any problems with their products. It is so quiet yet simple to operate. I made fantastic smoothies in this blender that tasted like they were made professionally....
