Okay, just not for very long

Disappointing purchase - I bought this microwave because of the inverter technology hoping to get more even heating. I also chose this one because of the ability to punch in how many minutes and seconds I wanted, rather than the fixed 1 minute or 10...

Terrible

Very disapointed when most people are trying to do their best to save power for the environment that Panasonic are making an appliance which uses so much power on standby.

We have a very similar microwave the NN-ST669W, it looks good and works well but....

We measured the stand by power consumption and found it to be approx. 60w, that would cost approx. $73 / year or $368 over 5 years, just on standby!
