Absolute piece of junk

Got to where you had to open and shut the door half a dozen times to get it to work so took the cover off to have a look. The door close mechanism hangs off a flimsy piece of sheet metal with 2 screws on one side and moves sideways every-time you open...

4 years old now and has worked well to date.

Bought new Nov. 2010 from Betta Electrical after Sharp microwave catastrophically failed. Noisy fan post-cooling function was an unpleasant surprise but assume same for all inverter type microwave ovens. Also interfers with Uniden WDECT 2355 cordless...

Great microwave for size and price

As a family of five, we wanted a larger capacity microwave to replace our old convection one which had died after about 10 years use. We used this microwave consistently over the time we have had it. We're only looking to replace it now because the...

This model should be recalled & purchase cost refunded to customers

In a 5 month period, I purchased two of these microwaves, via the RetraVision Ballina NSW. Both microwaves were the same model (NN-ST659W). The first (purchased Aug 2010) cost me $210. It blew up in November 2012, one year out of its warranty. I then...

I thought I liked the brand panasonic. I now realise I don't.

It blows up just outside of warranty (two models did this to me, it can't be a 'fluke').

No problems

My Panasonic has and is working beautifully, it has never missed a beat, is easy to use and clean. I have had it on the bench and in a cupboard and find it no noisier than the kettle. I don't cook in mine, only defrost and warm so not sure if that...

Noisy, poor quality- Just stopped working

Purchased this to replace a Panasonic microwave oven that had done years of good service. This was a poor choice. It has a noisy cool down cycle which was not explained at the time of purchase, and given my history with the earlier model I did not...

Poor Poor Poor

Bought a Panasonic based on other electronics in the house that are quite good. However this microwave is horrible. Plastic on buttons lasted less than 2 months, light blew within 6 months, door stopped working properly within 18 months. Glass fogs up...

Panasonic Rip off!

We bought the Panasonic NN-ST659W microwave because our previous Panasonic was quite good. This one however has a horrible open button, noisy opening and closing mechanism, is low quality, and doesn't always work as you'd expect. Bought it in March...

It was okay for heating a pie, although it never matched the instructions on packets, you had to learn by trial and error.

It didn't last long enough and it's low quality. Warranty not long enough.

Lasted one year six months before key pad almost stuffed, almost because I can still press quick minute and then turn it off at the outlet when ready! Poor performance it takes over 1 min more to heat a frozen meal then the unit it replaced and it had...
