Hotpoint MWH 2824 B

I gave this microwave 10 points for everything although I haven't used the grill as yet. It has really good looks and the price reasonable.

It gives good even heating; the time to heat food is easily entered via a dial rather than by multiple pressing of buttons; it has a smart appearance that matches our other Hotpoint oven.

We would prefer it to double up as a microwave that could be built-in rather than be just free-standing.

Instruction booklet not enough details. I bought this to use the oven and grill facilities but find that neither work to my satisfaction. The sausages do not brown and grill and the Yorkshire pudding does not rise nor cook. A more comprehensive cooking...

Looks

Not that easy to use cant work out auto programmes eg jacket potatoes

Looks smart and easy to understand instructions for use. Steamer a good plus.

Convection temperature seems lower than my last (Panasonic) combi oven so I need to cook five minutes more than instructions. I did try higher temperature but this resulted in burning food. Have not used micro facility yet so cannot comment.

massive microwave combi for little money,fairly easy to use ,overall an excellent piece of kitchen equipment ,makes me wonder why we have a cooker now can get a 12"pizza in no problem .

none really except my colour choice ,black is a nightmare to keep clean , but i knew that before i purchased it, and thats just my opinion :)

Excellent microwave, really like the steaming bowl, use it all the time.
