Consumer review (newegg.com)
Smooth and comfortable shave. Very close shave on 1 day old stubble as well as 5 day old. Washable feature is fantastic and battery life is excellent
Replaced my 10 year old Norelco shaver which finally gave out. This one is even better than that one and I really loved the old one. Good to see Norelco still making quality product and Newegg selling at their usual great prices
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I wouldn't recommend this shaver. Buy the 8160XL if you want something that will last longer. I bought this for one to use in my car on my commute to work, but I won't buy another one of these.
Cheap, has XL blades. Philips Norelco customer service is handling my exchange nicely
Shaver doesn't last very long, weak motor, feels kind of cheap, occasionally dumps the hair when you don't want it to depending on how you grab it

Got this for my son who loves its techie appearance and quietness
Son still unshaven. Unit does not have ninja sleep-shave function

I like it, close shave and awesome price
nothing so far

Did anybody at Norelco test this razor? My beard is so thin that I do not consider myself able to grow a legitimate beard. Seriously, I do not have a thick beard at all... and this razor cannot even shave me. At best, this will pull and tug the...
It looks like an electric razor
Most notably, this razor is incapable of shaving a man's face
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Spend a little more for a more powerful razor if you plan to use it often
Easy to use, very basic and small. Charge lasts forever. Relatively inexpensive and good build quality. Shaves close
Usually requires many passes, and holding at the perfect angle to get tough places like under the nose and around the chin. Also, it takes time to get used to the dry shaving and metal on your face
Consumer review (newegg.com)
May be with experience i could get a close neck are shave without irritating the skin so much.
Great Shaver, coming from a first time electric shaver user ; Cleans easy ; I am getting closer shave than the 2 /3 blade disposables ; Great battery life ; Very low noise level
Tricky to master the neck region. This may be due to my initial experience with electric shavers , but i cant get a clean shave on the neck without irritating the skin
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I wish I had known how well this shaver worked 5 years ago--
I had the expensive Braun ($200+) for 5 years, 3 of them, and this little razor shaves me much closer than the Brauns ever did! It is also so quiet that I thought it was broken when I first started it. You can run hot water over the inside & outside of...
