Battery enables better performance

This was a replacement for a Panasonic ES-RT51 after three years of use. As with any electric razor, those of us with dark hair will not be 100% satisfied. It is quite helpful, but I also use a Shick razor. The lithium ion battery enables a high speed...

Good but don't expect anything near Gillette 5 blade razor.

It is good for an electric shaver and I am sure the higher end models do a little better but I don't think any of them can replace a blade if you are picky about your shave or like me your skin seems to need the weird sort of regeneration from a manual...

I have been discouraged for a long time how much every generation of razor blades goes up a bunch in cost and think it has gotten ridiculous. I had read reviews and hoped the Panasonic was the answer to my problems. Well it does work for in between...

Doesn't shave neck very well and does take some experimenting to get the best possible shave which if you are picky about your shave you aren't going to be happy.

Good shaver but corroded & failed after a year

I used it in the shower on a daily basis. Worked well, held a charge for a week or two of shaves between charges. After about a year it stopped working one day and would not come back to life even after charging. I took it apart--1 screw to remove...

Shaves very well. Easy to use and keep clean.

About 3 or 4 months in, LED display began to fail and would only show 1 of the digits, so you couldn't see how much charge was left. Failed completely at around 1 year mark. Took apart and found battery terminals corroded inside.

Didn't last long - 5 months

Cheap junk seems to be the norm now. My last Panasonic razor lasted several years. This one is fine when it works, but didn't last.

Shaves as well as any panasonic wet/dry. Easy to use and keep clean.

Failed completely in 5 months. LED display began to fail within a month, would only show 1 of the digits, so you couldn't see how much charge was left. Worked fine and held charge ok. I used it in the shower and kept it clean per the manufacturer...

Ater 6 months, this razor is failing

I use this razor every other day in the shower and have had it for 6 months. I have had other Panasonics last for 5 years, but this one is junk.

not many

It does not shave as close as the previous Panasonic Linears I have owned in the past 15 years. The LCD readout for percent charge remaining is failing - the number displays garbled. Also, the pop up trimmer stopped working a month ago.

Great shaver but should be AC powered too

You won't be disappointed by this unless you want one that can be powered by the charger. I bought this to replace my Panasonic ES7024 which is a lower end wet/dry 3-blade shaver from around 2003-2004. What has extended it's life so long is the fact...

Very comfortable shave, charges quick, LED screen shows charge state, spring mounted shaver head, easy to hang onto

Can't be powered directly from AC adapter

Its terrific!

Pays for itself in a year on money saved from blade purchases

It is a wonderful shaver. I am used to shaving in the shower, and this wet/dry shaver is more than a substitute for blade razor. Works incredibly well as a wet shaver and just as well with Afta pre shave or powder stick.

Battery charge a bit short, but recharges quickly.

Works great, and has advanced features

I finally decided I was tired of paying through the nose for razor blades. I calculated I spend over $100 a year in razor blades. The electric razor has evolved to a comfortable device that I can now use daily. I have rough whiskers, and had a 3-day...

Smooth, close, comfortable shave. Powerful battery. Easy to use, with comfortable grip. Flip out trimmer. Self-cleaning. Clear and easy to see green LEDs on unit, and cradle. Logical interface.

A little large, but not a detractor for me. Charging bay is a little large, but I have a large sink counter, so no biggie for me.
