The Netgear Push2TV HD (PTV2000) now supports 1080p video playback and is the most seamless way to stream video, photo slideshows, and music wirelessly.
Supports 1080p video playback. Wall-mountable. Small and doesn't take up too much space. Backwards compatible with first generation WiDi (minus the improvements). Can stream protected content with driver updates to wireless chip and WiDi 2.0.
There is some latency. A bit pricey for an accessory.

Netgear has produced quite the nice little device, and it's a glimpse at the future of wireless video. But the Intel lock-in and bandwidth limitations mean that people will be more likely to just hook laptops up directly with HDMI.
Hardware set-up is very simple ; 1080p desktop streaming works well ; No audio de-sync ; Multiple adapters supported
Updating software to get things to work is overly complex ; High bitrate 720p and 1080p videos aren't completely smooth ; Around a half-second delay means gaming isn't advisable ; Works with Intel WiDi-compatible laptops only ; Can suffer from Wi-Fi...
For now, the technology is highly promising, and the Netgear device is good. As such, we've scored it, understanding how well it works within the bounds of its limitations. But make no bones about it — unless all of the above conditions happen, people...

This media streaming device allows you to put small pictures on the big screen.
Streaming high definition video from your laptop to your TV has never been this easy.

If the battery dies, then the laptop isn't as useful, because it will need to be plugged in at all times in order to function. ~~http://www.laptopinc.com.au/laptop-battery-p.php/1+ASUS+90-NI11B1000+Laptop_Battery ~~ tell you the way to solve this is to...

What is being reviewed? Up for review today is the Netgear Push2TV adapter which works with the Wireless Display Technology from Intel. And as a I mentioned in the two related gallery (Toshiba Satellite E205 & Netgear Push2TV) posts, these items were...
In the lead up to the review I will admit I had some reservations about how well this would work. Needless to say I have been impressed. Actually it has worked better than I expected, but, that is not to say it is perfect. Some of the issues include a...

Coming back with another Gadgetell hands on gallery, this latest is the Netgear Push2TV for Intel Wireless Display technology. And similar to the Toshiba Satellite E205 in the previous post—this was provided to us by Intel for testing. That said, just...
