Iomega ScreenPlay TV Link Director
Most video media players are restrictive since you have to buy a 2.5 inch hard disk alongside it. Iomega's sleek ScreenPlay TV Link Director edition works a bit differently.

At less than $100 this is a steal. Far easier to carry around than a DVD/DiVX player and astonishingly good at what it does.
