I couldn't resist adding this lens to my kit. Though expensive, the Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM Lens is simply an outstanding lens in nearly all regards, with very impressive image quality topping the list.

The Sony zoom costs a lot, but the technical performance justifies the price.

Sturdily built with weather proofing. very good optical performande for a 12-24mm, with very good light a all focal lengths.

Expensive, will only accept custom insert filters. No aperture ring.
