very good image resolution in the frame centre ; well-controlled chromatic aberration at the maximum aperture ; image stabilization at the level of 2EV ; good coma control

As the kit lens for the NEX series, we don't expect it to be perfect, but the lens has a few objectionable results in our testing of it. The lens could certainly stand to be a bit sharper, and there are some odd results in our CA testing.

Camera is fine. Bundled lens is Lightweight with Reasonable optics

Camera is good. Bundled lens has Very bad 'judder' or sticking at either end of zoom range. This makes it useless if using video mode & zooming. Have tried 3 replacements & all are the same. I know it's a budget lens, but expected more.
