Sony DCR-DVD910 Handycam Camcorder Review

The DCR-DVD910 is Sony's top dog for standard definition DVD camcorders this year. It's a bit of an odd duck, though, and difficult to account for. Priced at $649 MSRP, it's within site of much better high definition camcorders. Sony makes little...

Sony DCR-DVD910

The DCR-DVD910 is the top-of-the-line DVD camcorder in Sony's standard definition group for 2008. On paper, it's an improvement on last year's DCR-DVD508, but the result is an unimpressive camcorder that simply can't compete in today's shrinking market...

The Sony DCR-DVD910 comes with a 1/5-inch CMOS sensor and 15x optical zoom. It records exclusively to DVD, even though the step-down model (the Sony DCR-DVD810) records to DVD, 8GB of internal memory, or removable MemoryStick cards. DVDs typically have...

Long Life Battery

Battery has over 2 hours of capacity when used with CX-760 & 900 cameras. Because of larger capacity, it takes longer to fully charge on my Travel Charger and longer for the charge status progress indicator to show status.

Won't work

Bought a new PJ380 and this battery the day before I had to film. It would NOT charge in the camera and was essentially dead which screwed up my filming plans. The smaller battery that came with the camera worked fine, but I NEEDED this battery for a...

Always have power

Got this battery in a camcorder bundle. I am very impressed. Got 2 full hours of recording out of it with lots of camera interactions. The battery still had more power to go... Would recommend if longer run times is what you need.

Small but Still Useful

As other reviews have noted, this case is small, but it does accommodate the NEX5n camera with both the 18-55 lens and the 16mm wide angle lens. The side compartment can hold the 16mm lens even with the base cap, but it's a tight fit. I plan to get the...

A Must Accessory

Can't speak for Schoenauer except to say he probably should have bought his battery at a local store carrying Sony products. Easier to return and get a new one. I purchase this battery at a Best Buys Store for $85.00 a month ago and I haven't been able...

Not Dedicated for Nex Camera but Quite Good

This is actually for Handycam not Nex 3 or Nex 5. But cases dedicated to Nex are too expensive. This case will do just fine! However, it is a little too small if you want to carry both 18 mm lens and 18-55 mm lens. And if you have a 18-200 mm lens,...
