Good cheap and cheerful zoom, with a decent reach (especially with APS sensor). Included case is pretty decent. Great value.

Front of lens rotates as the thing focuses (obviously), which is a menace if trying to use circular polariser. Generic instructions for all versions (different mounts) of lens not the clearest. Minor gripes though.

My friend has the same lens without the apo.The apo is a much better lens it stops fringing at the edges. It is well worth the extra money to get the apo lens

It isquite hevy. I would have paid a bit more for a image stabilsation system

Not true macro, loses image sharpness at the edges at maximum focal length
