Sharp images, fast focus. Really pleased with this lens.

No negatives for me it is a bit heavy but so are most lens

Crisp image, quick auto focus with you can also override. Very wide angle. Great for landscape or close up photography when you still want to get a lot in the shot.

Natural vignet sometimes in lower light.

Excellent value Lense, very happy with the results. :)

Nikon lenses are too expensive for paupers like me!!!!

Diameter of lens results in the camera not being able to lie flat on its base however this would be the same with all the types of lens and so not a bad point, just something to consider

Price, ease of use and solid build quality.

Images are quite soft in corners when wide open at 10mm. Distortion is quite pronounced too at the wider end. These are typical issues which affect all wide angle Zooms though so not a big issue

Good optic excellent value for money.

Very slight softening at the edges.

Fantastic image quality and when you compare with what the equivalent nikkor lens can do then you really can't argue with the price of the sigma!

Only a small thing, the lens cap doesn't fit on as well as it could but really a small point when compared to what you pay for it
