The Samyang company, although it's been around for good several dozen years, has been producing fully-fledged lenses for reflex and mirrorless cameras only since 2009. As they haven't constructed their own autofocus system yet, currently it offers just...
small, well-built and very handy casing ; sensational image quality in the frame centre ; excellent image quality on the edge of the frame including the maximum relative aperture ; low chromatic aberration ; negligible astigmatism ; decently corrected...
noticeable vignetting ; no depth of field scale
Consumer review (lenstip.com)
this is a very special use lens so you'll not use it all the time, luckily its very cheap and tiny so having it does not cost you a lot ;) its a great lens for astrophotography as its fast as well..
tack sharp- tiny- fast!- manual focusing very precise
on the NEX 7 it has color cast(camera problem)- manual focussing could use less rotation as you basically only need close focus or infinity- vignetting at f2.8
