The affordable Samyang 16mm T2.2 VDSLR ED AS UMC CS II is a sharp, fast wide-angle lens for APS-C SLRs and mirrorless cameras.

Geared for cinema use. Nice price. Quite sharp. Focuses to 7.9 inches. Available for multiple systems.

Doesn't cover a full-frame image sensor. Manual focus isn't for everyone. Omits optical stabilization. Some fall-off at corners.
