The Samsung NX 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 ED OID iFn is the weakest Samsung NX lens that we've tested so far although given its extreme 11x zoom ratio this is hardly surprising. The performance is actually pretty decent at 18mm and 24mm between f/5.6 to f/11....

Convenient zoom range, Good build quality, Effective optical image stabiliser, Low distortion, Excellent sharpness in the centre at 18mm, Low falloff

Drop off in performance as the lens is zoomed in, Chromatic aberration levels may be an issue, Loss of contrast shooting into the light

The Samsung 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 ED OIS packs a long zoom range, but your images will be better if you opt for a two-lens solution to cover this range.

Long zoom range. Optical stabilization. Quite sharp at wider angles. Not a lot of distortion. Excellent build quality.

Image quality suffers noticeably at telephoto focal lengths. Narrow aperture. Expensive.
