As 'it said on the tin', produces smooth bokeh & has great low-light performance. Great lens for a very competitive price.

It's true that the mount is plastic. However, unless I suddenly become rather clumsy or my style develops in to a lens-swapping fanatic, I don't envisage any problems.

Stunning portraiture, fast and snappy autofocus - excellent soft focus creative shots fully open at F1.8, yet magnificent depth of field at F11 and upwards.

Didn't come with lens hood, which is essential for outside use in sunlight.

Image quality versus price.....it's hard to beat this lens.

Super lens, great quality - just had to wait for it to drop in price (which it did)! I'm using a KX, and its great for close up shots, portraits, etc.
