Lightweight alternative to pro wide angle zooms .

 

Results as good as 16-35 f4 and 14-24 f2.8 at a fraction of the weight. Combined with D810 makes a great unobtrusive street photography outfit

Light, inexpensive and good

 

I have a set of F1.8 primes (85, 35, 20mm) and bought the 20mm to enable me to go a little wider than my 24-70mm lens would allow. The 20mm F1.8 takes the same filters as the 24-70 (77mm) which means I don't need another adapter for my Lee filter...

Wonderfully wide

 

I use this lens for just about everything - travel, architecture, street and landscapes. It is lightweight but still offers superb image quality. I now use a set of lightweight primes in place of big 2.8 zooms with better results and less backache
