Bought as an alternative to a wide angle

 

Great for working in tight spots. Used with the correct software it\'s great. I use it on my nikon d7000, deliberatly bought as I will upgrade to FX at some point and much cheaper than the top of the range wide angle zoom.

A recyclable Nikkor -good thing, or bad?

 

I still, now, would have preferred to have my much older, slower and bought secondhand original Nikkor.Optically, it is fine though comparisons with other lenses almost impossible as there\'s only two available and one simply doesn\'t buy a fisheye...

WOW !!! I bought this for a toy.... and now it is one of my fav lens... and with the D1x the distortion is small I hardley use a wide lens now except this and will probably sell my others... this is by far the most forgiving lens i have ever had ! WOW
