solid, huge and stylish barrel ; brilliant image quality in the frame centre ; excellent image quality on the edge of the APS-C/DX ; good image quality on the edge of full frame ; very good correction of longitudinal chromatic aberration ; negligible...

huge vignetting on full frame ; a bit too high coma in the corners of full frame

a joy every time I pick up this lens,,,It makes average pictures a little more compelling and good pictures immensely satisfying.

same consistency with the other Otus 55 and 85...and the 135f2 which i consider in the same league

no cons, you know what you are getting in to
