This hood is functional but it doesn't feel very strong and the pinch clip method of fitting is a bit fiddly. I prefer the twist on/off fitting method myself and would like the product to have a bit more strength to it.

The product was as expected from Canon Lens Hoods. Very easy install, good results.

The "pinch" fitting is not as good at all as other Canon hoods, too easily detached if knocked, more like a 3rd party accessory than a major manufacturers. It's also too expensive for such a flimsy part, if you can find a 3rd party one cheaper, go for it!
