Canon 35mm f/2 FD Lens

 

This lens is known (like the 50mm 1.8) for its noisy, non-USM focus. But aside from that, it is a wonderful prime lens that is very versatile on a cropped sensor body. The 35mm has excellent focus, color saturation and contrast. The bokeh is nice but...

Great saturation, contrast, sharp focus almost always on the mark.

Sound when focusing, bokeh can be polygonal for small light sources.

Canon 35mm f/2 FD Lens

 

Great lenses, both in new and old versions. Very fast, sharp and good color saturation.

Great walking around lens, suitable for street shootings as well as parties of people and their surroundings. Probably gotten the most compliments for pictures taken with these lenses, maybe if only because people are so used to 50mm or longer.

My S.S.C. is a fungus farm, but still sharp as a tack.
