I have this lens along with the ring flash and thought it would be great fun when I first purchased it. It is very difficult to operate because the depth of field is about 1mm when at 5x. You definitely need a tripod, flash and ideally a remote trigger...

I have used this lens several times through CPS loans and it is the only lens that I have found that does what it does, but boy is it a challenge. field of view and depth of field are so narrow that I have no idea how one would get a photo of anything...
