I\'ve used lots of makes of UV \/ protection filters over the years. To me this sort of filter needs to be good quality with no colour casts and to protect the end of your lens, at a good price. I also have found high price does not guaranty good...

It is a handy hood as it is rubber and flexible so can be squidged into a camera bag. Only thing to watch is it coming unscrewed and on a wide angle lens cropping the corners.
