That\'s good stuff

This is a great lens if you use it manualy in any situation. If you are working with AF this lens request time and good light condition. I would recommend this lens - good price and good quality. If you haven\'t big budget - this is it !

A perfect second lens..

Ok, let me set the scene. I own a Nikon D40, a little long in the tooth I know, but still an amazing camera. My mother in law has decided that I will be taking the photos at my brother in law\'s wedding. Considering that the stock 18-55mm lens would...

Great Little Lens

I purchased this lens for my Nex5 which means you have to use it with Sony\'s LA-EA1 mount adapter, and although Sony have updated the firmware to version two, which will allow autofocus on some lens it won\'t give you autofocus on this lens. However,...

Very pleasantly surprised

I wasn\'t sure what to expect from Sigma as I have never ventured away from[...], but am very glad I took the plunge. At over half the price of the [...] equivalent, it offers superb value and fantastic quality.

An all in one lens for the holiday - YES

I\'m sure that this will be the universal lens for my holiday in August. Took the thing out on a test mission the day it arrived and took landscape and telephoto shots; both with very satisfying results. The focus is slow so for serious action work it...

one lens travel option?

The Sigma DC range of lenses has always impressed me for value and performance, excellent finish and construction - very nice colour rendition too. However the autofocus on the 18-200 3.5 - 6.3 is a little on the sluggish side when mounted on the Sony...

Everything you need in one lens

O.K. I bought a D60 and I love it but the choice of lenses is just mind blowing. Should I get a fast prime for portraits? Should I buy a super zoom for wildlife? Maybe I should just use the kit lenses that I bought with the camera. NO! Stop messing...

Lens Review

Construction quality is good and the lens is amazingly compact. I find that the zoom mechanism can slide out from time to time if the camera is held vertically Autofocus can be a bit slow but for the amateur photographer like me it is fine.
