Great Portable Workstation

Even though the 8 Mb of RAM does the job, I would have preferred 16 Mb. I'll have to upgrade sometime in the future to provide a bit more head room for larger models.

I bought this laptop for running SolidWorks while on the road. The nVidia Quadro card & 8 Mb of RAM provide adequate power to do the job. Out of the box setup was a breeze. Comes with Windows 7 pre-installed.

There is an issue with the Lenovo "Rapid Boot" program & Norton Internet Security that causes NIS to stop working. Once Rapid Boot is turned off, the issue goes away. Only comes with Windows 8 restore disks, you have to make your own Windows 7 disks.
