Lenovo ThinkPad X300

Riyad's affections switch from Sony's TZ to the Lenovo X300 - he's fickle like that!

Lenovo has given Apple an object lesson in how a thin and light notebook should be designed and constructed. The ThinkPad X300 is stuffed full of cutting edge features, is svelte and light enough to be carried around every day and boasts the sleek,...

Lenovo ThinkPad X300 notebook

There has been a great deal of interest in ultraportable notebooks recently. Whether it's the budget Asus Eee PC or the design-led Apple MacBook Air, they keep grabbing the headlines. Now, we have Lenovo with its latest high-end business ultraportable....

Light, great keyboard, plenty of features

Legacy ports, expensive

If you have the money to afford it and are looking for an ultraportable that lacks nothing, this is a great machine, delivering on battery life, usability and performance.

Lenovo Thinkpad X300

Preview: Lenovo's delivered another thin laptop, but has the X300 got the style and substance to beat the Air?

Incredibly thin and light. Packs an optical drive. Built-in 3G

Ugly. Only slightly cheaper than the solid state Air. No option for cheaper, higher capacity HDD model

Lenovo ThinkPad X300 review

Lenovo's buttoned-up Thinkpad X300 ultraportable notebook computer may not have the Apple MacBook Air's superslim Spartan style, but after firing up the X300, it's hard to not love this laptop.

While it does cost a fair amount, the Lenovo ThinkPad X300 proves that you can cram everything you need into a tiny package.

Lenovo ThinkPad X300

PC Pro's editor, Tim Danton, on why Lenovo's new ultraportable is a better bet than Apple's MacBook Air. The UK's first review.

The large bezel is a minor black mark against the X300 too. It not only gives the unit a retro feel, it also makes us wonder whether the screen could have been even larger. We're disappointed to see only a D-SUB at the back: a DVI-I port would have...

Lenovo X300

Gorgeously slim and ultra portable, the Lenovo X300 is a Thinkpad Laptop that comes with amazing features like a 34-cm display, a full-sized keyboard, a solid state hard drive, a DVD burner, WWAN connectivity, and GPS. The Lenovo X300 comes in black...

Lenovo's lightweight gem

The Lenovo Thinkpad X300 is an ultraportable masterpiece that is light on the shoulders but not the wallet.

Lightweight ; built-in DVD burner ; dual cursor controllers ; host of advanced features

Pricey ; no memory card reader

Still, if you are willing to look past some of the drawbacks, the X300 is an ideal choice for road warriors who are looking for the ultimate thin and light notebook without sacrificing much of the features they need to be productive.

Lenovo X300

Forget the MacBook Air. Is this the ultimate executive ultra-portable laptop?

It's not flawless, but when it comes to no compromise ultra-portable business notebooks the Lenovo X300 is the new reference standard.
