Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2nd Gen, OLED)

The addition of a higher-resolution OLED display makes the business-minded convertible-hybrid Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga attractive to creatives.

Brilliant, colorful screen. Comfortable backlit retractable keyboard. Full complement of ports. Built-in rechargeable stylus.

Pricey as configured. OLED screen means less battery life than the competition. Fingerprint magnet.

Bottom Line: The addition of a higher-resolution OLED display makes the business-minded convertible-hybrid Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga attractive to creatives.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2nd Gen)

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a convertible-hybrid laptop with a sturdy chassis, plenty of ports, and a handy stylus. It's a solid choice for its slightly larger than average screen, but the competition in this realm is fierce.

Comfortable backlit retractable keyboard. Built-in rechargeable stylus. Full complement of ports, including Thunderbolt 3.

Less battery life than the competition. Requires dongle for Ethernet. Fingerprint magnet.

Bottom Line: The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a convertible-hybrid laptop with a sturdy chassis, plenty of ports, and a handy stylus. It's a solid choice for its slightly larger than average screen, but the competition in this realm is fierce.

very expensive ; cooling is weak ; not very expandable ; display isn't very bright ; noticeable reflection despite anti-glare coating

Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Yoga 2017 is a powerful high-end convertible which not only stands out because of its terrific OLED display, but also because of the price: at 3300 Euro (~$3720), the ThinkPad X1 Yoga 2017 is certainly no bargain. The premium...
