Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13

Is this flexible flip-screen convertible the ideal marriage of Ultrabook and tablet?

Flexible body (it’s in the name), Soft-touch materials throughout, Good screen, Decent keyboard, Stylish looks

Heavy for a ‘tablet’, No optional digitizer stylus, Poor speakers, Keyboard not up to highest Lenovo standards

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13

We're in the throes of the Windows 8 revolution and there are already all manner of twisty, folding, laptop-cum-tablet touchscreen devices out there. The Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13's tact is to opt for a single screen that, while it looks like a more...

Great design, IPS screen looks excellent, full Windows 8, good viewing angles, variety of positions is excellent

Pricey, keyboard in tablet position feels strange, expensive, some competitors offer more for the cash

In our review of the Yoga 11 we felt that too much cash was being asked for what amounted to too little in return. Enter the IdeaPad Yoga 13, however, and it tackles these issues head on: it's got more power and, importantly, runs the full version of...

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 review

Lenovo has experimented with ways to convert laptop to tabletbefore, notably with the ThinkPad Twist, but the IdeaPad Yoga13 converts from laptop to tablet by flipping the screen all theway over so it sits underneath the keyboard.

Decent screen, good build quality

Slowish processor, not cheap

The IdeaPad Yoga 13 offers an intriguing take on thetablet/laptop hybrid theme. It's well built, and works effectively, even if it's a bit heavy to be very attractive as a tablet. It's ashame the performance level doesn't quite match the premiumprice.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13

The Lenovo Yoga 13 is the bigger and more powerful member of the Yoga family, the handy double-jointed hinged series of laptops that lead a double life as both an Ultrabook and a full-sized Windows 8 tablet. Is this thin touchscreen wünderkind your...

The Lenovo Yoga 13 is a great touchscreen Ultrabook, but its tablet function falls flat due to the unwieldy size and heft, making it more party trick than useful talent. On the other hand, its propped up tent option more than makes up for it, and makes...

In The Lab: Previewing Lenovo's IdeaPad Yoga 13

After shooting it for our annual gift guide, Lenovo's IdeaPad Yoga 13 is in the lab, being reviewed. But before that story goes live, we wanted ...

Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 review

The 13in ultrabook you can flex into a number of positions

Brilliant flexibility means the Yoga can be two different devices in one, super sleek high-end design with sturdy build quality

Keyboard can prove irritating, battery life not as good as promised

The Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 has a clean unique design, perhaps one of our favourite ones on the market. It's an ultra-flexible and powerful laptop with the option to convert into various different modes, making it a close to ideal hybrid device. Its HD...

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 review

I'll admit it - at first I was a bit sceptical of the Yoga as a concept. In theory, it seems like an Ultrabook-slash-tablet is doomed to be mediocre at best. But the Yoga is surprisingly awesome. Sure, it's not going to replace your iPad, but for a...

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 review

Lenovo's ingenious Yoga 13 is an unusually flexible Ultrabook, with tablet functions that come as a welcome bonus

That means there’s no danger of inadvertently typing random letters as you hold it, but it still makes for a seriously heavy tablet, and there’s no doubt the exposed keyboard and touchpad feel a bit odd. For casual web surfing or video watching,...

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 review

The Yoga 13's shape-shifting design makes it the most intriguing Windows 8 convertible we've seen. It's not perfect, but it's still a good choice among Ultrabooks.

Amazingly versatile designThin and light for a convertible Bright, crisp IPS display

Jumpy trackpadParts of the keyboard feel cramped

Back in January, when we first saw the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga at CES, we declared it to be one of the most memorable things to come out of the show. That was 10 months ago, though, and thanks to that gap, there's a bit of a discrepancy between our initial...

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 review: Flexible in more than one way

The Yoga is perhaps one of the most usable Ultrabooks available today. It's got a great keyboard, trackpad, and touchscreen, and it can be used in multiple positions.

A little heavy

The Yoga is perhaps one of the most usable devices on the market. It has a great keyboard, trackpad, and touchscreen, and can be used in multiple positions.
