One of the best Windows 8 laptop/tablet hybrids we've seen

Ultrabook and tablet in one, Smart design and build quality, Generous size SSD and 8GB of RAM

Gets a little warm and noisy, Touchpad is only so-so, Battery a little too weak for all-day use

The smaller Yoga still bends over backwards for you

Extremely portable ; Strong hinges ; Up to an i7 processor ; Starts at just $799 ; HDMI port ; Great touch-screen

USB 2.0 not 3.0 ; Tablet mode leaves keys exposed ; No backlit keyboard ; No Haswell option

If you're in the market for a Windows 8 tablet or laptop you'd be remiss to not check out the Lenovo Yoga 11S.

We're starting to get used to touchscreen laptops. At first, the idea was a bit foreign to us, and didn't feel like something we'd use, but now there are dozens of touchscreen Windows-based laptops available, we are actually finding them quite useful....

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S is a great 11-inch ultraportable touch-screen laptop that also has a flip-around display for tablet and hybrid use.

Recent 11-inch laptops from Apple and Sony have raised the bar for ultraportables, especially when it comes to battery life. The Yoga 11S needs an upgrade to Intel's latest processors.

Like the larger 13-inch model, the 11-inch Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S is a useful hybrid that doesn't forget it's a laptop first, but it's stuck with what feels like old hardware for now.
