While the changes are modest, I'm a big fan of the new colour and the bump in processor – the Huawei MateBook X Pro remains an enticing laptop.
Looks fantastic;Screen aspect-ratio is great for productivity;Lots of good specs for the price; That green colour
Reflective screen;Everything about the webcam is bad;SD slot would have been the icing on the cake

The third-generation MateBook X Pro keeps the same design, but ramps up internal power with 10th Gen Intel Core i processors. Is it any good?
Tiny screen bezel makes for a striking display ; Good battery life for a laptop of this spec ; Full-size USB and USB-C feature ; Great typing experience
Screen a little glossy and therefore reflective ; Camera placement under F7 key doesn't make for pretty viewing ; Battery can crumple when asking a little extra
With a stunning trim-bezel screen, heaps of power on tap, ample ports (including full-size USB), and a great-looking finish throughout, the MateBook X Pro is, in many ways, the Windows laptop equivalent of the Apple MacBook Pro.

The 2020 MateBook X Pro doesn't mess with the formula, but this remains one of the best laptops on the market - and one of the most beautiful too.

Little change year-on-year for the X Pro, but stylish laptops never go out of fashion
Beautiful design ; Stunning display ; Fantastic keyboard
Low-quality webcam ; Low battery life

While it's far from cheap, the upgrades made to Huawei's MateBook X Pro make it a potent Windows 10 ultraportable.
Controversial camera placement ; Steep price tag

A laptop from Huawei that bares the popular Pro moniker. It is thin, light, and incredibly good-looking. And like its 13-inc cousin, the MateBook 13 (2020), this notebook is incredibly similar to t…
Very good build quality paired with thin and light chassis;Excellent IPS-NEO panel that covers 97% of sRGB;Our Gaming and Web design profile makes the colors on this laptop very accurate;Doesn’t use PWM to adjust its brightness levels;Decent battery life
Lacks a Thunderbolt connector and an SD card reader; No RAM upgradability post-purchase;Bizarre cooling solution

Huawei MateBook X Pro has come in a new edition, which is worse than its predecessors. Time does not stand still, but Huawei obviously does.
Gorgeous screen with high resolution. In addition to the design and build quality from the top shelf, it has excellent sound.
Battery life is mediocre, as is performance. Huawei uses old technology for memory, and simply does not get enough out of the other specifications.
There’s no doubt that Huawei would like the MateBook X Pro to be a type of Windows 10 alternative to Apple’s MacBook Pro. The Chinese company will hardly admit it publicly, but you can only look at the design and naming of the machines if in doubt.

The Huawei MateBook X Pro 2020 is one of the best looking 13.9” subnotebooks with a very ‘Apple-Esque' Space Grey machined alloy chassis. It is the third Huawei MateBook X Pro 2020

When it comes to thin and light Windows laptops, there are a few brands that come to mind such as Dell or HP. But for the past few years, Huawei has been getting up there with their MateBook lineup. Design & Hardware The look of the new MateBook X Pro...
Premium look and feel ; Good selection of ports ; Solid battery life ; Fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello ; Good specs
High price tag compared to the competition ; Odd webcam placement
The MateBook X Pro (2020) is a great Windows laptop that offers good specs in a thin and premium body but there are some issues to fix like the fan noise and webcam placement.

There aren't a huge number of changes made to the 2020 MateBook X Pro, but Huawei's made another sophisticated and high-specced laptop, albeit with a couple of potential dealbreakers.
That leaves a pretty narrow niche of people who want a work-first laptop but don't need it for anything too intensive, but who also want to pay a premium for niche and luxury features like the hi-res touch-screen display or the Huawei phone...
