Huawei MateBook E (2022) review

A capable Windows 11 tablet with included keyboard is the way to go for Huawei, but further refinements are needed for it to be the best 2-in-1 around.

Gorgeous OLED display ; Decent performance ; Great cameras ; Keyboard case included

Poor battery life ; Frustrating fingerprint sensor ; Very limited ports

The MateBook E and Smart Magnetic Keyboard make for a great on-the-go computer, but a couple of key weaknesses take the shine off the experience.

Huawei MateBook E (2022) review: An impressive Surface Pro 8 alternative with a top-quality OLED screen | ZDNet

The MateBook E is an impressive tablet-first 2-in-1 laptop. The OLED screen is the star, but it's also well built, with capable cameras, mics and speakers. Battery life is the main disappointment, along with a paucity of ports.

No kickstand for the tablet ; Only one USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 port ; Moderate battery life
