HP Spectre 13t-3000 Ultrabook review

On paper, HP's new Spectre 13 ultrabook looks like just another slim 13-inch laptop, with the same basic components and design as dozens of other options in the around-$1,000 category. Its main selling point is a wider-than-normal touch pad, which...

The HP Spectre 13 has a sharp, thin, ultrabook design, high-end upgrade options, a great keyboard, and an extra-wide touch pad.

A handful of other premium ultrabooks offer better value. The extra "control zone" spaces on the touch pad don't feel like a fully realized concept.

The HP Spectre 13 is an excellent all-around ultrabook, with a great keyboard, display, and battery life. The unique Control Zone touch pad is interesting, but I wish it were a little more useful and intuitive.

HP Spectre x360 13t (13-4003) Review

The HP Spectre x360 13t midrange convertible-hybrid laptop combines premium, all-metal construction, a refined portable design, and solid performance that matches that of more expensive systems.

An extra-wide touch pad for the HP Spectre 13

This slim, reasonably priced ultrabook adds new touch-pad design to stand out from the crowd.

HP Spectre x360 13t (2020) Laptop Review

Has HP's Spectre finally surpassed Dell and Apple as the best premium, portable laptop?

Great design ; Beautiful display ; The keyboard is a dream

Starting price a little high

It's worth noting that both the Dell XPS 13 (7390) and the MacBook Air (2020) start at a cheaper $999 MSRP right now, though that nets you a dual core i3 with the MacBook as opposed to a quad core i5 on the Dell. The Spectre also has a quad core i5 to...

"4 1/2 stars, only drawback is 8.1 touchiness"

Overall the size, weight, speed, and power of this computer are great. It is like having a touchpad computer, but better overall with more power and portability. No cd or blu ray....all Bluetooth, wifi, or thumbdrive. QHD screen is great....worth the...

battery, size, weight, speed, light, touchscreen, super def screen, start up time is seconds

8.1 is taking getting used to, touch pad can be finicky, sound is not good to me

"Solid Windows Ultrabook with few downsides"

The HP Spectre 13t-3000 is, truly, a premium Windows 8 laptop. The all-metal body and glass screen lend to the upper-end device. It's in a champagne-gold and truffle brown finish, which compliments the style if you're into that. Also, the screen offers...

Sharp, readable screen; good keyboard; responsive trackpad; premium feel

Fairly heavy; wear shows easily

"closest PC laptop to a Macbook Air"

I'm surprised this machine doesn't get more love. I looked at many laptops before purchase including the Yoga 2 (resolution made fonts too small, build quality not as good) and Thinkpad (best keyboard but very expensive and heavier/larger). This screen...

Simply amazing

I have owned numerous notebooks from mainstream to boutique gaming notebooks. This is by far my favorite notebook to date. I paired it with an EGPU and 40gb TB3 cable for high demand graphics and have a single cable to pull to go mobile. If you are...

Precision piece of equipment

Extremely fast, weighs a bit more than my smart phone, incredibly slim and sleek lines and the battery lasts 3X my previous laptop. Wish I'd bought it months earlier.
