HP Spectre x360 (2018) review

This flagship 2-in-1 laptop gets the job done

Stylus included ; Stunning speakers ; Beautiful display ; Day-long battery life

Weak hinges ; Annoying keyboard layout

Even with less battery life than promised, there’s not a lot to hate about the new Spectre x360. In fact, with a stylus in the box, excellent speakers and a gorgeous touchscreen, there’s a lot to love here.

HP Spectre x360 review: What happens when Microsoft helps build a laptop?

The Spectre x360 is HP's newest flagship notebook. It's also probably the closest you'll get to seeing Microsoft build its own laptop. You see, though th

Attractive, well-made design ; Long battery life ; Colorful screen, good viewing angles ; Comfortable keyboard ; Fast performance ; Reasonably priced

A bit heavy for a 13-inch laptop, even one with a convertible design ; Relative heaviness makes it less practical to use as a tablet ; Touchpad offers a bit too much friction

The Spectre x360 is one of our new favorite laptops, thanks to its premium design, fast performance, vibrant screen and comfortable keyboard. It's relatively heavy compared to competing laptops, but it mostly makes up for it with nearly best-in-class...

HP Spectre x360

In 2016, none of that has changed. The only difference is a new generation of Intel processors that are slightly faster. And I like it that way.

Two years running, the HP Spectre x360 offers incredible value for the money. Its slim, premium aluminum frame houses a speedy processor, comfortable keyboard and touchpad, plenty of full-size ports, a beautiful touchscreen and a surprising amount of...

While attractive, it's a little chunkier than some of the competition. The glossy screen can generate distracting reflections -- the price you pay for touch -- and the 15-inch model's speakers sound muddy.

If you're looking for a full-featured Windows laptop with major bang for the buck, the HP Spectre x360 is it.

HP Spectre x360 Review

HP's Spectre x360 is a superb 2-in-1 with a stunning design, great battery life and top-notch performance.

Gorgeous, slim design; Speedy Intel 7th-Gen CPU, PCIe SSD; Powerful quad-speaker setup; Wide touchpad, fantastic clicky keyboard; Vibrant, accurate display; Has both USB-A and USB-C ports

No SD/microSD card slot; Hinge could be a tiny bit stiffer

HP Spectre x360 13 review – lean and premium business solution

The previous Spectre x360 laptops have always dragged behind the competition in terms of portability, especially compared to the Lenovo Yoga series but with its newest model, HP is making some big …

Sturdy, minimalistic premium design;Light and compact;Good input devices;Excellent IPS panel;No PWM above 85 cd/m2 brightness;Ridiculously long battery life;Offers two USB-C Thunderbolt connectors

Wobbly touchscreen;Limited selection of I/O;The system can’t utilize the full performance of the CPU for long periods of time

HP Spectre x360: The surprisingly good offspring of a MacBook Air and Lenovo Yoga

Review: Good looks and great battery life make for a compelling laptop.

I love how it looks ; The battery lasts a long time ; Good screen ; Competitive pricing

The keyboard is mediocre ; I always want more RAM

I liked the Spectre x360 far more than I expected to. The battery life is excellent, the design is strong, and the trick hinge is genuinely useful. Just like the Dell XPS 13, the Spectre x360 meaningfully advances PC laptops beyond the MacBook Air,...
