Portable workhorse. The ProBook 450 G5 was one of the first business notebooks offering the newest generation of Intel Core processors. In this review, we will cover, whether this cheap office notebook is worth your time.

excellent keyboard ; great touchpad ; matte IPS display ; USB Type-C with DP/PD, VGA, and SD card slot ; decent speakers ; good upgrade path (HDD + SSD, two ram slots) ; stays quiet during use

a rather large chassis ; fit and finish could be better ; unergonomic port position ; bad access to the cooling system ; only a 12-month warranty

The ProBook 450 G5 is an affordable 15.6-inch notebook in the entry-level business segment which delivered a convincing performance during our testing. Recommendable: The ProBook 450 G5 definitely does a lot more right than wrong.
