HP Pavilion x360 review

Is this the flexible, low-cost hybrid we've been waiting for?

Impressive build quality ; Nice price tag ; Good almost full-size keyboard

Lacking on the performance front ; Battery life should be better ; Not great in tablet mode

This is an attractively priced and usable hybrid, but it's underpowered compared to rivals.

HP Pavilion x360 review

The post-PC era is upon us and we're in a period of transition. There are tablets, there are laptops and there are devices that want to do more than the two combined. Take the HP Pavilion x360, a touchscreen device that outwardly looks like a laptop...

Looks pretty nifty in red, affordable for Windows 8.1, 360-degree concept is interesting, enough connection ports

Poor screen viewing angle, limited battery life, low resolution display, big screen bezel, bulky and heavy as a tablet-esque device, can be slow in use

Conceptually the HP Pavilion x360 gets a lot right. It's got full Windows 8.1, it's affordable, has plenty of physical connection ports, makes light work of typing, and the multi-positional screen idea is integrated well, even if it's not an entirely...

Hands-on: HP Pavilion x360 review - Pocket-lint

With the Post-PC era supposedly upon us in full force, traditional PC makers are flummoxed as to what to create. The latest example is HP with the HP Pavilion

It delivers that, however at a cost of coming across as a jack of all trades and master on none. It's big, heavy (1.4kg), clunky, and we suspect prone to damage, especially the keyboard when you use it with the screen hinged back beyond the 180 degree...

HP Pavilion x360 laptop-cum-tablet review

The red plastic is flecked with silver glitter, and it's complemented by a metallic wrist-rest and a glossy black screen bezel. The corners and edges are smoothly rounded, and build quality is good: a strong hinge flips between laptop and tablet modes,...

The red design looks good and feels sturdy, but the Pavilion's weight and dimensions make it tricky to use as a tablet, and its lack of power, poor screen and mediocre battery life hamper its usefulness as a laptop. We'd only recommend this if you want...

HP Pavilion x360 13 (2017) review

  (Rating Hidden)

HP has revised its 13-inch convertible laptop with the latest seventh-generation Intel Core i3 processor and - for some versions - a full HD 1080p screen. We liked the Pavilion X360 when we last reviewed it, but found some issues with the touchscreen...

HP Pavilion x360 15 review

  (Rating Hidden)

HP calls its large-screen Pavilion x360 15 laptop 'radically new'. It's certainly very uncommon to see a 15-inch PC that can also be used as a tablet. That gimmick may appeal, but is it powerful and user-friendly enough to be worth recommending? Read...

HP Pavilion x360 (2019) Review: Versatile 2-in-1 for Content Creators - UNBOX PH

We review the Pavilion x360! 2-in-1 laptops have evolved drastically ever since they first came out in the early 2000s with the Compaq TC1000. Gone are the days when 2-in-1s are bulky, fragile, and slow: newer 2-in-1s like the HP Pavilion x360 come...

HP Pavilion X360 review

The X360 flips from laptop to tablet in the blink of an eye, but poor battery life and a dull display weaken its appeal

Even though the price is appealing, the HP Pavilion X360 suffers from too many compromises. The Asus VivoBook X200CA offers similar performance and battery life for £50 less, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 11in shows exactly how a hybrid should be...
