HP Envy x360 15-bp006na review

  (Rating Hidden)

A laptop/tablet hybrid, the HP Envy X360 15-bp006na has a screen that can fold back on itself, for those times you want to do away with the keyboard. It's not a new premise by any means, but could the i5 processor and dedicated graphics card elevate it...

HP Envy x360 15"" (AMD) review

  (Rating Hidden)

The HP Envy X360 has a party trick up its sleeve. Yes, it looks like a standard laptop, but flip the screen back and suddenly it's a tablet (albeit a pretty big one). We've reviewed plenty of HP laptops in the past, some of which have the same flexible...

The latest laptop from HP is a high-quality unit that's taking aim at creative types, media fans and The Envy x360 15 from HP is a high-quality unit that's taking aim at creative types, media fans and home users

Good-looking and sturdy design

Low-power processor has its limitations

Kitguru says: HP’s machine is a solid bit of kit, from its sturdy and good-looking design right through to the keyboard and trackpad, but it’s never able to truly impress: the screen’s good contrast is undermined by poorer colours, the keyboard is a...

HP Envy x360 15 Review: A Good 2-in-1 Hampered by an Outdated Display

Why buy a convertible laptop with a 15.6-inch, 16:9 panel when 16-inch, 16:10 models exist?

Premium looks at mainstream price ; 1440p webcam ; Long battery life

16:9 display feels cramped and outdated ; Dim display

HP Envy x360 15 review: premium performance for an enviable price

Solid, speedy, with an enviable price

Elegant design ; Lightning-fast eight-core Ryzen processor ; Good battery life

Still a 16:9 screen ; Heavier than it looks ; Touchpad isn’t my favorite

HP’s Envy x360 15 with AMD Ryzen 5000 chips is, in typical HP fashion, solid and well built. Its touchpad could use some improvement, but this processor is hard to beat for the price.

HP Envy x360 15 review

Speedy performance and solid build quality don't have to empty your bank account, as the Envy x360 15 proves

Sturdy chassis ; Strong hinges ; Colorful display ; Solid performance ; Great battery life

Lacks stylus ; Audio is only passable

With speedy performance, a sturdy build and all-day battery life, the Envy x360 proves you don’t have to spend a bundle to get a good 2-in-1 laptop.

HP Envy x360 15 (Ryzen 5) review: Power over portability

Strong performance ; Slick build quality

Convertible more in theory than practical sense ; Heavy form-factor

It won’t quite cut it as a gaming laptop but a new Ryzen Mobile CPU does serve to address some of the underlying weaknesses of the Envy x360 and serve to propel its existing strengths to new heights.

Review: HP's ENVY x360 15 is a whole lot of convertible at a great price

HP's ENVY x360 15 can be considered within the budget or mid-range price range depending on configuration. However, it leans heavily toward high-end in terms of performance, battery life, and build quality.

Super performance from Ryzen 7 5700U ; Thin, light, high-end aluminum build ; Color-accurate FHD touch display ; Excellent keyboard and touchpad ; Outstanding battery life

Port selection could be better ; No 4K version for AMD-based system ; Top speaker grilles are for show ; Glossy display finish and 16:9 aspect ratio

Bottom line: HP's ENVY x360 15 is a premium convertible with a mid-range price. Battery life is outstanding, performance is tops, and the FHD touch display has precise color and contrast. It's also easy to type on and the touchpad is huge. As long as...
