If you thought gaming PCs had to be big, heavy and ugly, then think again. The Gigabyte P34G v2 can't hold a candle to most £1,000+ Ultrabooks in the battery life or looks departments, but it's a discreet and portable laptop with serious gaming power.

It’s not a desktop-level powerhouse, but Gigabyte’s P34G is a great option for gamers who care more for portability than cranking the graphics up to 11.

Nice and clean design, the backlit keyboard is handy. I've tried a few games so fair and didn't seem to cause any trouble.

Upgrading past W8 was a pain in the rectum, but got it upgraded to W10 eventually. On the down button, the "Pg Dn" symbol is slanted ever so slightly that it's not that annoying, but I know it's there... I know... Always

- Slim and light - Full HD screen - Strong performance in current games - Gigabyte over-clocking software works well and makes a much greater difference to frame rates than expected - Minimal bloatware - Premium feel - Quiet when Internet browsing or...

- Fans can be a little noisy under gaming load (although perfectly tolerable) - Some applications possibly bottlenecked by 5200rpm hard disk

Keyboard is v good Graphics card along with quality of build are both great.

A little heavy...

It's small and powerful

I had to install extra RAM and SSD myself.
