Everex StepNote XT5000T

A laptop with a 17-inch wide screen for only $899 seems too good to be true--and in this case, it just might be. Though the Everex StepNote XT5000T has decent features and would make a nice computer for the kids, it lacks speed and keyboard comfort.

Tempting price, Can hold two hard drives

Problematic keyboard, Sluggish speed

If you're a two-finger typist on a budget, check out this desktop replacement.

Uh... Wow

This is an absolutely amazing computer.

The keyboard is the only issue, and a small one at that.

Honestly, if you want a cpu that can watch high quily movies, listen to music with 3Mw subwoofer, and play games with stunning graphics and performance than this is the computer for you.

the keyboard is defently odd, but the keys are non-stick.

Amazing...almost.

Impressive build quality, only one program pre-installed that could be considered bloatware (Norton 90-day trial), upgradable processor, beautiful display, ability to add additional hard drive, easy to upgrade additional RAM.

Full keyboard, but is awkward at first with three seperate blackslash keys.
