Dell Inspiron Chromebook 14 7000 2-in-1 Review | Trusted Reviews

The best Chromebook yet? Dell's Inspiron 14 7000 2-in-1 offers buyers a high-quality display, great battery life, and is wrapped in a durable metal jacket.

Great build quality ; Good display ; Excellent battery ; Nice, eye-catching design

Chrome OS app support is still limited ; Speakers are not optimally positioned

Dell proves that Chromebooks can be sexy and sophisticated with the Inspiron 14 7000 2-in-1.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming

The Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming is Dell's latest effort to capture the super-competitive £1000 gaming laptop market. It comprises two models, one that sells for £900, and another costing £1100 thanks to its beefier graphics hardware, larger memory and more...

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming review

The first budget Max-Q gaming laptop is both ups and downs

Minimalist looks ; Solid graphics performance ; Cheapest avenue for Max-Q

Reduced battery life ; Not enough storage space ; Poor speaker placement ; Lackluster trackpad

The newly Max-Q-powered Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming shows lots of promise, what with its modest pricing and capable performance. All things considered, this redesign winds up being more of a downgrade than an upgrade, all while continuing to ignore...

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 review

This unlikely gaming notebook goes boom

Impressive battery life ; Loud speakers with subwoofer ; Great screen

Slow hard drive ; Can get very warm ; Relatively heavy

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 offers great entertainment value and decent battery life behind a gorgeous display, even when it feels slow (and hot).

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 review

An attractive 2-in-1 that's more laptop than the tablet

The aluminum body looks slick and makes it feel sturdy and durable ; Vibrant screen

Heavy ; Battery life ; Tablet mode not useful

A competent, capable, attractive and well-priced 2-in-1 notebook that works better as a laptop than a tablet, thanks to the large screen and weight of this 15-inch machine.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (2014) review

An all-around excellent multimedia laptop

Attractive aluminum design ; Vivid 1080p touchscreen ; Excellent inputs ; Solid performance

Heavy ; Tinny speakers

While its speakers could use a boost, this multimedia laptop boasts a crisp 1080p touchscreen, excellent inputs, and solid Core i7 performance – all packaged in an attractive aluminum chassis.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming review

Almost a great all-rounder, this gamer-focused laptop has a fast-response screen and a GTX 1050 Ti graphics card for great 1080p performance. It's just a shame about the screen's viewing angles and colours. Here's our Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming review

The Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming gets just about everything right apart from its screen tech. Its design is fine, its performance admirable and its battery life a jaw-dropper. This makes its lacking screen quality all the more annoying, although at least...

Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 (2016) review: The king of budget laptops has arrived

Dell's new 13- and 15-inch backflipping PCs bring premium features down to an affordable price -- and make them standard.

The Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 comes with all the trimmings -- a slim metal chassis, backflipping touchscreen, speedy solid state drive and accurate touchpad -- for hundreds less than you'd expect. A face-recognizing camera, rare for any laptop, is...

The glossy touchscreen creates distracting reflections, and a poorly-placed power button is easy to press by accident. Uninspired design, heavier than competing laptops and battery life is slightly below average.

Whether you need a 13-inch portable or a 15-inch workhorse, the Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 offers unheard-of value for money. You can invest in an external battery pack to extend its battery life.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (2016) review

The first laptop I ever bought with my own money was a Dell Inspiron. It was big, ugly, and exactly what I needed at the time -- a cheap computer with just enough processing power to play the latest Half-Life game.

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 will play any PC game you want, without having to spend a ton of money to get that performance.

It's a thick, heavy, ugly black slab with mediocre battery life. And a fingerprint magnet, too. You'll want to pay extra for a solid-state drive to avoid annoying stutter.

That boring black obelisk look notwithstanding, the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is a great PC for gaming on the cheap.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series review

  (Rating Hidden)

Dell says that its top-of-the-range large-screen laptop mixes 'elegance with an edge'. Weighing less than 2kg, it's certainly lighter than most 15 inchers. And the 'edge' refers to the thin bezel design and powerful processor. We put the Dell Inspiron...
