Dell Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1 (5482)

You won't mistake it for a $1,200-plus HP, Lenovo, or LG (or even Dell's more upscale Inspiron 7000 series), but the Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1 is a sound convertible for about $900 in the peppy model we tested.

Sleek design. Perky performance. Full-size USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and HDMI ports.

Display could be brighter. Battery life is just okay. No Thunderbolt 3 port.

Bottom Line: You won't mistake it for a $1,200-plus HP, Lenovo, or LG (or even Dell's more upscale Inspiron 7000 series), but the Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1 is a sound convertible for about $900 in the peppy model we tested.

nice fast machine

had it a couple of days replaced my acer spin 3 (this was well slow) really fast machine fast start up programs load pretty fast. nice to use and not too heavy did have a small issue with it saying windows wasnt verified but got that sorted. bit miffed...
