Classy chassis.

Expensive for a Chromebook.

If you are 100% sure you want a Chromebook, they do not come much better than the Dell 13 7310. However, it is a lot of money to spend when you could be getting a very capable Ultrabook at the same price.

Dell Chromebook 13 7310 review

A sleek and desirable XPS-style Chromebook - but at a price

Stylish; Sturdy and well-made; Excellent keyboard and touchpad; Useful selection of ports; Good screen quality

Expensive

Dell’s latest ChromeOS laptop is a barnstorming Chromebook, but you’re almost certainly better off with a cheaper, less over specified configuration or, unless you need an extended warranty, a Google Chromebook Pixel

Dell Chromebook 13 7310 review: The business-class Chromebook Pixel

Dell's premium Chromebook has been built for business – it's not cheap, but it's beautifully constructed and a joy to use

Let’s get one thing straight: I do not recommend spending more than £1,000 on the Core i5 touchscreen model of the Chromebook 13. For that money, I’d buy an XPS 13. Or a Chromebook Pixel. Or a 13in MacBook Pro.

Dell Chromebook 13 (7310)

The Dell Chromebook 13 is a speedy and well-made laptop for business professionals, but its high cost for the category means you're probably better served by a full Windows system for the same price or less.

High-quality build. 1080p display. Good performance in testing.

Expensive for a chromebook.

Conclusion The Dell Chromebook 13 offers a better build quality and performance compared with most chromebooks. The increased speed is useful if you're a professional running a lot of Chrome apps and services simultaneously, and the price, while higher...

Dell Chromebook 13 review

Google's Chromebook Pixel is the ultimate Chromebook. It's easily the most powerful, capable, and beautiful Chromebook. But at $999, it's also an impractical product. Even if you've got the cash to...

Superb build quality ; Wonderful keyboard and trackpad ; Battery life that goes and goes

Heavy and thick compared to other Chromebooks ; Display white balance is a bit warm ; Bulky, inconvenient charger

Three things to know about the Dell Chromebook 13

Dell 's new Chromebook 13 is another contender in Google's Chrome OS market, and it is a serious player on the field. Dell hails this as its first professional-level Chromebook, and we agree with its assessment; if you're looking to grab a Chromebook...

Review: Dell Chromebook 13 — a premium option for pros

Dell has introduced its new Chromebook 13, a laptop that runs Google's Chrome OS and that, in nearly every way, demands attention and is wholly deserving of it. This laptop has many bragging points, leaving most Chromebooks in the dust and doing so...

The Chromebook 13 is pricier than some of the other Chromebooks on the market, but it is still toward the lower end of the pricing spectrum when it comes to laptops in general. If Chrome OS is adequate enough for your needs, this particular model sits...

Review: Dell Chromebook 13 7310

This premium Chromebook was built for business.

Say what you like about Chrome OS, but it’s tough to argue with a premium-quality business laptop costing less than $1,000.

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Amazing battery life and a stellar build quality.

- Absolutely recommend this to anyone considering a mid-range Chromebook. - I would certainly purchase this again, and more importantly, I see no reason to get the i3 version unless you are an extraordinarily heavy multi-tasker. - If I could change one...

- Amazing build quality, fully metal chassis, glass track pad, and a nice carbon fiber lid. - Exquisite battery life. - Pretty screen with good back-lighting and a matte finish.

- Speakers are pretty weak
