With the Zenbook Flip, Asus has combined its knack for thin and light laptops with a 360-degree hinged screen design to make a high-class convertible laptop. The Zenbook is expensive, but it's one of the finest examples of a convertible laptop around.
A svelte hybrid laptop with a high price to match.

An affordable 2-in-1 laptop with a few compromises
Thin and light ; All-day battery life ; Roomy keyboard and trackpad
Lacking multitasking performance ; Convertible form factor compromises build quality ; Tons of screen glare
The Asus ZenBook Flip features the same specs as its UX305 Ultrabook brother, but its convertible form factor has introduced a few too many compromises. If you don’t need a convertible, the UX305 is the better choice.

Just being a laptop doesn't cut it anymore. The Asus ZenBook Flip UX360CA plays at the level you need in order to walk with the Windows 10 cool crowd, complete with a hinge that lets the screen flip around to form this month's least likely tablet. The...
Slim and light, looks good, decent battery life
Build quality issues, screen construction spoils contrast, less of a bargain than some other ZenBooks
The Asus ZenBook Flip UX360CA is one of the weaker entries in the ZenBook series - a series which contains laptops we've recommended countless other times.

If you need a laptop that can also be used as a tablet, Asus now has a ZenBook which will oblige. Here's our Asus ZenBook Flip UX360CA review
Asus has been in a rich vein of form with the ZenBook range. It has been the go-to place to find an ultraportable laptop that won’t break the bank. However, this new 360-degree hinge version ultimately disappoints. Issues include a drop in build...

If you move around then the most important things with a notebook/tablet are good battery life and unless you spend a good bit of time in the gym the weight of the unit or to be precise the lack of weight, this unit from ASUS ticks both boxes.

Gorgeous IPS touch screen with FHD resolution.
Graphics are hopeless for gaming.

The ZenBook Flip is an attractive, low-priced alternative to fancier convertibles from HP and Lenovo.

...but only good for everyday tasks ; Feels a little flimsy ; Trackpad feels floaty
Despite falling in the middle or bottom of our benchmark comparisons, using the Flip is a really pleasant experience overall. It still feels snappy and can multitask well: When we had over a dozen tabs open in Chrome, including videos running on...
