ASUS ZenBook Pro 15 UX580 review: A portable 15-inch powerhouse

Powered by a hexa-core Core i9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU, does this 15-inch notebook offer the best blend of performance and portability? We find out.

Great performance;Touchscreen 4K display;USB-C Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type-A ports;Relatively compact and light;Competitively priced;Generously spec'd with 16GB RAM & 1TB SSD

ScreenPad appears superfluous ;No full-size SD card reader;Could do with a more powerful GPU

Asus ZenBook Pro Duo review: The best dual-screen laptop yet?

The ZenBook Pro Duo, with its second screen built right into the keyboard, is one of the most innovative laptops ever made. But is it actually a good laptop? Despite some flaws, the ZenBook Pro Duo manages to be far more than just a gimmick.

Asus ZenBook Pro Duo review: two-screen dream

Double trouble.

Dual screen setup is surprisingly great ; Multitasking champion ; Looks like the future

Second screen software needs work ; Poor battery life ; Limited port selection ; Uncomfortable design

But the ZenBook Pro Duo did sell me on the idea of a second display on a laptop, even if it doesn’t quite manage the execution just yet. It’s a first-generation product of a radical new way to use a computer — so of course Asus doesn’t have all of the...

Asus ZenBook Pro 15 (UX580G)

The Asus ZenBook Pro is a very capable desktop-replacement laptop thanks to its Core i9 CPU and 15-inch 4K display, but its star attraction is a touchpad that doubles as a second screen.

Unique touchpad doubles as secondary display. Excellent processing power, thanks to Intel Core i9 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Thin and light for a 15.6-inch laptop. Thunderbolt 3 support. Brilliant 4K display.

Noisy fans. Low-quality VGA webcam. Relatively short battery life.

Bottom Line: The Asus ZenBook Pro is a very capable desktop-replacement laptop thanks to its Core i9 CPU and 15-inch 4K display, but its star attraction is a touchpad that doubles as a second screen.

Asus ZenBook Pro 15 UX580GD review: A dual-screen powerhouse Review | ZDNet

The Asus ZenBook Pro UX580GD is big and heavy, and battery life isn't great. But the screen is superb, and there's plenty of CPU and GPU power on offer. The ScreenPad could be a winner, but Asus needs to refine the concept.

Powerful CPU, GPU and RAM options ; Bright, high-quality 15.6-inch touchscreen ; Secondary ScreenPad has potential

Big and heavy ; Poor battery life ; ScreenPad concept needs refining

Asus ZenBook Pro Duo

Unique ScreenPad Plus second display simplifies workflows. Main display is an OLED panel. Excellent design and build quality. Intel Core i9 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 offer computing muscle. Included stylus and wrist rest.

Cramped keyboard and touchpad. No SD card reader. Heavy. Short battery life.

The Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is a thoughtful, albeit pricey, reinvention of the laptop, with a second screen in the keyboard base and an Intel Core i9 processor that should appeal to creative professionals with resource-intensive workflows.

Asus Zenbook Pro 15 UX580GD

I love this laptop and have been using it for a year now. The weight of this laptop, 1.88kg is impressive for its specifications and performance. Good for work and entertainment.
