Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 (2022)

Can the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 bridge the gap between 15.6in and 17.3in gaming laptops, or does it fall through the cracks?

Good-looking, lightweight design ; Capable mainstream gaming ability ; Solid display and responsive keyboard ; Fast, versatile processor

Often hot and loud ; Rivals are quicker ; No alternative display options

The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is slim, good looking and fast, with solid gaming and CPU performance. It’s often hot and loud, though, and you’ll certainly find more performance if you’re willing to use a thicker, heavier notebook instead.

No professional-grade graphics option ; Slower professional 3D results than expected

Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 review: hot specs and hot air

More of the same from Asus.

Excellent performance in creative applications ; Improved battery life ; Incredibly quiet in silent mode

Gets surprisingly hot and loud when under load ; There are better alternatives for gaming ; Underwhelming speakers

Asus returns with another high-end 16-inch laptop aimed at creators that bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor. This model brings some improved hardware to the table but not much else.

Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 (2022) review: A lovable gaming laptop

Prepare to dote over Asus' brilliant ROG Zephyrus M16

Superb performance ; Engaging 16-inch display ; Nice keyboard and touchpad ; Immersive audio ; Sleek, compact form factor

Expensive and varied availability ; Average 720p webcam ; Gets hot

Thanks to its sleek, off-black sheen and Asus’ signature dot matrix design, along with a dazzling 16-inch display and RTX 3070 Ti GPU, it’s difficult not to marvel at the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16.

Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 review (GU603ZW model)

Update: Here's our detailed review of the 2023 Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 GU604 series.

beautiful design and improved build quality over previous gen ; awesome 165 Hz 16:10 QHD+ display, but beware of pontential QC quirks ; good inputs ; updated hardware and excellent performance for the class ; 90Wh battery, and fair battery life ;...

smudgy black finishing, especially on the interior deck ; awkwardly placed status LEDs and IO ; partially soldered RAM, with only 8 GB onboard on many variants ; very loud fans on Turbo ; hot air blown straight into the screen with this design

Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603 review (GU603HR - Core i9-11900H, RTX 3070, QHD+ 16:10 screen)

A couple of weeks I got to preview the Zephyrus M16 GU603 series from Asus. In the meantime, I've also spent time with a final review unit and was able to

compact build and beautiful design in this matte black version ; awesome 165 Hz 16:10 QHD+ display ; gets a camera and Thunderbolt 4 support ; good inputs, now with RGB ; powerful hardware and excellent performance for the class ; lower temperatures...

still some creaky noises in the chassis and awkwardly placed status LEDs and IO ; partially soldered RAM ; noisy fans on Turbo ; hot air blown straight into the screen with this design ; shorter battery life than on the G15

ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603 review – great end result thanks to some tricks

Following the success of the Zephyrus G15 GA503, ASUS was quick to release the 16-inch M16. Its name is a bit of a mouthful (ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603), but at the end of the day what matters is …

Review: Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603HR-K8004T | For Speed And Creativity Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603HR-K8004T

Asus' black luxury racer costs a lot of money. But not as many as you might think when you see how fast it is.

Seriously fast processor - and ditto graphics. Even if there is "only" one GeForce RTX 3070 card in the PC. Elegant enough to use at business meetings.

It is cheap in terms of performance, but still costs a lot of money. What could not have been acheived with an even better graphics card?

Whether the purpose is professional graphics or high-level gaming, the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 handles the task in superior style. And it has even managed to wrap the power in a unit that is both compact and elegant – and which will instill equal respect...
