The Asus Zephyrus Duo GX550 puts a dual-monitor setup in a relatively thin and light desktop replacement, along with the most powerful laptop hardware on the market right now.
Extremely powerful Inventive design Gorgeous display
Bloatware Bad trackpad Very expensive
The Asus Zephyrus Duo GX550 is an absolute powerhouse of a gaming laptop with one of the most imaginative designs we've seen in a while. However, a couple of missteps and a high price make it hard to recommend to anyone but a very specific type of user.

A twin-screen gaming machine that promises power, productivity and plenty of punch. But is it too hot to handle? Literally?
Dual-screen setup is useful for productivity ; Nifty screen visual settings ; Compact and portable ; Side slung trackpad is convenient ; Speakers are louder than most
Gets incredibly hot ; Lacks USB ports ; Illogical port placement ; Secondary screen awkwardly angled ; Frames-per-second performance is lacklustre ; No webcam
There's plenty to admire about this twin-screen gaming machine. Yet it comes with some serious downsides - no webcam leaves us puzzled, as does the relatively low frame-rate counts, and the insane underside temperatures.

The Asus Zephyrus Duo 15 is a stunning gaming notebook that packs in two screens in a neat way, along with great performance.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 is the best implementation of the dual-screen laptop yet, though you'll be paying top peso for the beast.
The dual-screen form-factor is more suitable for gaming ; Incredibly powerful internals ; Lots of freebies
Runs quite warm ; The keyboard requires a little getting used to ; Expensive

Today we are reviewing the power house version of ASUS ROG's Zephyrus Duo 15 which is equipped with
High end CPU and GPU give great gaming results.
Price is very high.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 is certainly trying something different, but we’re not sure it is entirely successful.

Extra screen meets excellent cooling
Attractive sci-fi style ; Nice 4K display ; Second screen lifts up for improved cooling and viewing angles
Awkwardly displaced input devices ; No webcam ; Only one Thunderbolt 3/USB-C port
It’s far from cheap, but Asus’ dual-screen ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 gaming laptop adds a handy, eye-catching second screen while improving cooling and keeping fan noise down in the process. If it weren’t for the awkward input devices and the lack of a...

Perfect application of the dual-screen concept One of the things that occurred to me while I was reviewing ASUS's dual-screen notebook, the ZenBook Duo, was how well the concept would work for a dedicated gaming machine. Dual-screen gaming isn't...
