Asus NovaGo hands-on

Asus NovaGo hands-on: Snapdragon 835 and hopefully mega battery life could make this a great choice for a mid-range laptop.

Asus NovaGo review

A 2-in-1 Windows 10 laptop powered by a smartphone chip

Proper ports (USB-A, 3.5mm, HDMI) ; Always-on Windows 10 ; Up to 22 hours of claimed battery

Still a little on the heavy side ; Plastic design isn't most striking ; No USB-C ports

The Asus NovaGo blends wireless connectivity of the future with ports of the past in an average-looking 2-in-1 foldable laptop design. It promises better than all-day battery life and and an amazing 22 hours of video playback. We'll continue to test...

Asus NovaGo initial review: Windows 10 but always connected

Asus is no stranger to innovation, so when Qualcomm told us that Windows on Snapdragon was ready to meet its public, it was no surprise to see Asus as

Asus NovaGo review: Hands on with the first Snapdragon 835 Windows 10 laptop

The NovaGo is sensibly priced and well-designed - if the battery life claims come true, it'll be a tremendous laptop

With prices starting at US $599 for the model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and rising to $799 for the 8GB/256GB model, the Asus NovaGo looks like it may well be a tempting purchase when it eventually reaches UK shores.

Asus NovaGo review

Outstanding battery life ; “Always-connected” internet is a game changer ; Solid build quality for a budget notebook

Performance is sluggish at best, terrible at worst ; Application compatibility is spotty ; The keyboard is a bit mushy ; May not work with older peripherals

Windows 10 on ARM isn’t ready for primetime, and the Qualcomm processor can be blamed. Battery life is excellent, but that doesn’t matter if performance – or compatibility – holds you back.

Asus NovaGo runs all day on a single charge, but compromises abound

The Asus NovaGo is a two-in-one laptop running Windows 10 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, but the experimental mashup is only sometimes successful.

The Asus NovaGo has extra-long battery life and an always-on LTE connection. The keyboard is excellent, and this two-in-one laptop claims over 30 days of standby time.

The phone CPU inside feels sluggish compared to Intel Core i-series laptops. Not every Windows app will work, or work well.

The Asus NovaGo makes good use of its Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 brain for long battery life and always-on cellular, but the performance feels more like a phone than laptop.

Asus NovaGo review pt 2: It's more versatile with Windows 10 Pro (but not any faster) - Liliputing

The Asus NovaGo is one of the first Windows 10 computers to ship with an ARM based processor. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the convertible tablet-style notebook promises long battery life, always-connected capabilities thanks to the...

A Smartphone CPU Gives This Laptop Over 15 Hours of Battery Life

On the outside, the Asus Nova Go looks like a typical 2-in-1. It's got a pleasant but not super exciting 13.3-inch touchscreen, a spacious touchpad with a built-in fingerprint reader, and a 360-degree hinge that lets it transform from a laptop to a...
