Asus N550JV

Would be nice if the much vaunted keyboard worked all the time, instead of sporadically. I did find the touchscreen keyboard useful when writing an email about the non-working keys to Asus.

Asus tech help weren't much use. Gave me a generic software fix for a hardware problem. Looking on the web now seems this is a hardware fault caused by a sloppily built system. Don't believe the hype about built quality, it's simply not true.

Works well and has plenty of useful features

Track pad could be better and the wrist support area is metal which makes it cold to touch and is initially a bit uncomfortable! One other moan is the HDMI port doesn't automatically enable and setting it up has so far remained a mystery?
